TRAVIS COUNTY EXPO CENTER
The Travis County Expo Center is a major economic engine and cultural pillar in East Austin.
In addition to Rodeo Austin, the multi-purpose complex, which includes the Luedecke Arena, Show Barn, and Skyline Club, consistently supports the local community and drives business development by hosting a wide variety of events. PLANNED METRO STATION
The proposed commuter rail is set to fundamentally redefine mobility and development in the region. The new line is planned to repurpose existing freight tracks to provide a new commuter rail link between Downtown Austin and the future Colony Park Station.
It will connect East Austin residents to major employment, education, and health centers downtown and at UT, vastly improving accessibility and spurring commercial and residential development in a corridor previously limited by car dependence. The new Expo Center Park & Ride further cements the area as a critical mobility hub for the entire Northeast District.
