In plain terms, CS is one of the city's most flexible commercial categories: it allows retail, office, restaurants and food service, personal services, fitness and wellness, workshops and light manufacturing, warehousing, and showrooms — and it allows you to combine them in one suite. Most maker, studio, fitness, hospitality, and retail concepts fit without a zoning change. If you have an unusual use (auto work, heavy venting or hazardous materials, overnight uses), ask ECR early and we'll check it against the code.
